Maintenance Technician
Full Time: 2:30 PM to 11:00 PM
• Responsible for performing highly diversified duties to install, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain facility and equipment according to safety, productive maintenance system and processes to support the achievement of the site’s business goals and objectives.
Key Responsibilities 
• Perform Highly diversified duties to install and maintain the upkeep of the facility
• Provide emergency/unscheduled/scheduled maintenance repairs.
• Perform skills including, but not limited to, troubleshooting, mechanical, electrical, plumbing, structural, and repair of facility issues.
• Read and interpret work orders to perform required maintenance and service.
• Perform a variety of maintenance functions, including diagnose problems, repair or replace parts, test and make adjustments.
• Perform regular preventative maintenance on pumps, motors, HVAC equipment, electrical fixtures.
• Use a variety of hand and power tools, electrical meters and equipment in performing all duties.
• Detect faulty operations, defective material, and report those and any unusual situations to proper supervisor.
• Comply with safety regulations and maintain clean and orderly work areas.
• Have the skill to paint apartments, hallways, and offices professionally.
• Perform all other duties as assigned or needed.
Requirements 
• High school diploma/GED required or an equivalent number of years of education and production maintenance experience.
• 4 plus years of maintenance experience, mechanical and industrial skills.
• Experience with painting, sheetrock, electrical and plumbing skills highly desired.
• Highly motivated and able to work independently.
• Able to work various hours.
• Ability to be scheduled on call for emergency purposes.
• Must be able to lift and move objects up to 75 pounds consistently. Heavier weight is necessary to be lifted at times.

Receptionist – Weekend Position

Part Time: 8 – 16 hours every other weekend

  • Attend to visitors and deal with inquiries on the phone and face-to-face in a positive up-beat manner.
  • Supply information regarding the organization to the public, clients, and customers.
  • Assist with all departments to create a successful atmosphere.
  • The job requires weekend hours (varying shifts to cover 9:00 a.m. until 5:30 p.m.) and holidays with some flexibility. May also work day hours (8:00 a.m. until 4:30 p.m.) to cover FT reception position if needed.

Key Responsibilities

  • Answer telephone, screen and direct calls

  • Support maintenance department with prep, tracking and communication of work orders for entire building
  • Support bookkeeper/controller regarding tracking of daily cash flow of petty cash and daily meal ticket/transportation charges.
  • Ensures updates to VCTV (internal TV communication for residents)
  • Maintains in/out of residents and communicates information to management

Shift Supervisor - Lead Server

  • Ensure a quality dining experience for residents in Director of Dining Services absence.
  • Answers resident questions about food, beverages, and our facilities, positively and accurately.
  • Develops relationships with residents.
  • Provides the highest level of service in accordance to our standards.

Key Responsibilities

 

  • Assigned server duties.

  • Identifies food orders when ready and delivers items to tables in a timely manner.
  • Communicates with cooks to ensure resident satisfaction.
  • Communicate with Director of Dining Services concerning events.
  • Assist in training of service staff.
  • Monitor side work and sign off on completed work.
  • Buses tables, does dishes, and other side work as needed.
  • Reports to work as scheduled, in uniform, and ready to be in position.
  • Maintains professional relationship with all coworkers.
  • Follows checklists for duties assigned by supervisor, even coordinator, or head chef.
  • Maintains a safe, sanitary, organized, and stocked work area.
  • Responsible for proper food handling.
  • Prepares work area for either opening, mid-shift, or closing in accordance with company standards.
  • Punches clock in in full uniform, ready to work no earlier than five minutes prior to shift.

Requirements

 

  • High School diploma or equivalent.

  • Minimum one year serving/customer service experience.

Part Time: 20 hours per week approximately

•This is a non-tipping position that pays the current NYS minimum wage (not food service minimum wage) and will teach you all the skills needed for a higher level serving job.
